Heavy Duty “Aluma Stand”

Precision Aluminum Products is very pleased to present the Heavy Duty version of the “Aluma Stand”.

While the standard version of the “Aluma Stand” has met the majority of the needs of the Air Conditioning industry for over a decade and a half, and will continue to meet those needs for many years into the future, the recent implementation of the 2001 Florida Building Code has given rise to exciting new opportunities and requirements.

In line with these new opportunities, and our continued commitment to provide our customers with quality, code driven products, we now include the Heavy Duty Aluma Stand in our family of rooftop equipment support stands. As with the regular “Aluma Stand”, the Heavy Duty version is ASCE 7-98 approved, and meets all requirements of the 2001 Florida Building Code.

Constructed of heavier gauge aluminum, these new stands will allow units weighing up to 350 lbs to be placed on buildings up to 18 stories tall, with stand leg heights up to 24” tall.

maximum building height, maximum unit weights, and the unit lateral surface area.
The Heavy Duty Aluma Stand is available in the same sizes as the regular Aluma Stand: lengths of 2’ thru 18’, with the width adjustable from 18” to 30”.
